Learn about using the necessary tools, different hydration methods , the importance of temperature, the science behind fermentation, how to create and maintain your own sourdough starter, how to create a levain, why protein levels in bread flour matter, bulk fermentation, shaping, baking times, temps, what’s an open crumb, what the color of the finished bake means, oven rise, and finally taste tasting the sourdough. You’ll go with home prepared to bake your first organic sourdough boule or batard. Take home your own banneton, dough scraper, lame and your very own dough baby. To bake at home! All you’ll knead is a baking vessel, like a Dutch oven to bake it in!
