Cleo The Turquoise Queen
Morning Radio Personality at Pirate Radio 93.5 FM
As a mixed media/assemblage artist, I use repurposed, upcycled, and found objects to design whimsical wall art. It's fun for me to use items beyond their original purpose and create one of a kind art. For Cleo The Turquoise Queen, I dug through my ridiculously large collection of textiles, jewelry pieces, and paints, finding varying shades of blues, turquoise, and gold. With almond shaped eyes, jewels, and headdress, Cleo soon took on the likeness of an Egyptian Queen, inspiring her name.
