For Our Daughters represents a long-awaited healing: the years of disease development and pain, the lack of answers, the dismissive comments, and the solution and rebirth of a life without illness. It is a commentary on women's healthcare and lack of understanding women's bodies, even within medical communities. It is a conversation starter and a wish. For Our Daughters is dedicated in deep gratitude to my current medical team, who listened, who cared, and who gave me my life back. For our daughters, including my own, may we strive to do the same.
