Sunnyside parent Carmelita Oguro (K and 4th grade) will work with you to identify a good location for your planter, and fill it with awesome soil, herbs, edible flowers, maybe even a vegetable, all customized to your family’s food preferences and sunlight in your available outdoor space. You’ll have a mini garden complete with cute labels, care instructions, and a game plan for the plantings for the next growing season. Not only will this planter feed you and add beauty to your outdoor space, but it will also be a great learning experience for the entire family.

And if you’re already a seasoned gardener, this prize can make a great gift for a loved one. The timing is perfect for Mother’s Day!

The planter included is a black Veradek pure midori planter with the following dimensions: 10" W x 31" L x 15.25" H. Installation is assumed to be in San Francisco with a somewhat level outdoor space with at least 3 hours of direct sunlight. An irrigation system is out of scope, but can be added separately if needed.
