Join the Sunnyside Elementary Community for an SF Crosstown Trail Challenge to raise critical PTA funds to support our kids' education. It’s the ultimate chance to make new friends, soak up the city’s beauty, get your steps in and help our school.
What is it?
18 glorious miles of San Francisco’s hills and thrills on the Crosstown Trail.
When is it?
Sunday, October 12 @ 9am-6pm
How do I Participate?
Register to participate by purchasing a $30 ticket and then collect pledges using 99Pledges. Collect pledges by the mile or by one-time donation.

What’s the plan?
-
9am - Start: Sunrise Point, Candlestick Point Recreation Area (the end of fishing dock)

11:30am - BYO Lunch: Glen Canyon Park Playground Area.
Sunnyside Families may gather here to cheer for their walkers. Walkers may stop at Canyon Market to pick up food right before Glen Canyon Park. -
6pm - Finish: Lands End Lookout
The full walk typically takes 8.5 to 9 hours. Please plan to get a ride home from the end. You won’t want to walk back. ;)
That’s insane. Can I just do part of it?
Yes! Walkers may choose to end at any time. We have created a few milestones to help you set your goals. We will plan to stop at all of these places for water refills, snacks & stretching.
