Celebrate Lancaster's rich refugee and immigrant community with your own unique art piece!
Thanks to a partnership with NPR's StoryCorps American Pathways program, 16 Lancaster neighbors came together in August 2021 to record their experiences of resettlement, friendship, love, and welcome. The American Pathways program is a new initiative to record, preserve, and share the stories and experiences of refugees, asylees, immigrants, and Muslims living in the United States.
22 local Lancaster artists have listened to these recordings and drawn inspiration for the pieces you see here. Together, artists and storytellers are adding to Lancaster's long history of welcome. Together, we are building stronger and more diverse community.
Please note that all pieces are 10x10. Bid now!
And don't forget to join the artists and storytellers at the Community Art Show and Silent Auction: 7:00 - 9:00 pm, Two Dudes Painting Company (750 Poplar St). for an evening of fun, music and art!
Special thanks to our sponsors, curio. and Two Dudes, for support in amplifying local stories and artists.
