This June is your time to go on a 3-Day/2-Night Wild Alaska Adventure at Waterfall Resort Alaska. Waterfall Resort Alaska is the largest saltwater fishing lodge by capacity in North America and owns the largest private fleet of charter fishing boats in Alaska. Waterfall Resort Alaska can fish a maximum of 92 anglers at any given time. Staff to guest ratio is higher than 1 to 1. All of the fishing is open water boat fishing (both offshore & inshore pending weather conditions). There are four guests per boat with one guide.

The property is stunningly beautiful and incredibly remote, as the only way to get there is by floatplane or boat. Waterfall is located about 60 miles west of Ketchikan, which is about as far south as you can go in Alaska… which makes travel not quite as much of a challenge. The resort has been operating for more than 40 years and is legendary for some of the best salmon fishing grounds in the world. Aside from the fishing, the setting / location is as immersive of an Alaskan experience as you’re going to find!

Winner receives a 3-day / 2-night fully guided sportfishing trip for 2 guests during the month of June this summer. Standard trip itinerary for this package length is bbelow for reference.

Dates for this 2026 trip to choose from:

June 8-10

June 14-16

June 17-19

June 27-29

All meals (wine included at dinner), fully guided fishing, and fish processing (vacuum-sealed, frozen, and packaged for travel) is included in the package. Fixed costs that a the winning bidder will have to pay out of pocket are:

Roundtrip floatplane transportation to the resort out of Ketchikan, AK: about $650 per person

Alaska nonresident fishing license: $120 per person

Gratuities at the resort: Suggested amount is $200 per person for their fishing guide & $250 per person for the hospitality staff.

Other costs that will come up are commercial flights to Ketchikan and any potential overnighting costs at separate hotels in town. Also, optional bar / store charges at the resort are not included. We provide wine at dinner, but all other beer & liquor is additional (guests are also welcome to bring in any beer / liquor they’d like). Also, any potential overnighting costs at separate hotels in Ketchikan are not included.

Local Nashvillian, Cameron Trippel, will handle the scheduling / booking process and essentially serve as the personal trip coordinator.

Trip must be booked for June 2026 and will work out trip details within 1-2 weeks of auction close.

Standard Itinerary:

DAY 1 Guests depart Ketchikan at approximately 12:30 p.m. by floatplane to Waterfall Resort,
and are greeted by our general manager and crew. Shortly after check-in, guests head
out for an exhilarating afternoon of fishing for wild king and silver salmon, halibut,
lingcod, black bass, and more. Lunch is provided aboard the cabin cruiser and you will
choose lunch for the next day before you disembark.

All boats return to the resort by 5:30 p.m., at which time the catch is unloaded for the
photo op on the dock before delivery to our processing crew. Dinner, a hearty Alaska-style
buffet, is served in the Dining Room from 6 to 8 p.m. Evening activities may include a
hike to the waterfall, relaxing in the Lagoon Saloon, or maybe a game of pool.

DAY 2 Breakfast starts at 5 a.m. daily, and includes coffee, tea, juice, fresh fruit, homemade
baked goods, bacon and sausages, and made-to-order omelets. Your guide awaits at
6:30 a.m. to launch your full day of fishing. Maybe today you'll reel in the fish that makes
the King of Kings Salmon Tournament leaderboard and lands you cool prizes, from Logo
hats to cash, a new Ford F-150 truck, even a return trip to Waterfall Resort.

Return to the dock at 4:30 p.m. to hang your catch at the weigh station for the photo op.
Before dinner, peruse our library photo albums, relax on the dock and enjoy the evening
sun, or hit the saloon. Dinner will be served between 6-8 pm in the dining room.

DAY 3 On your departure day, you'll start fishing at 6:00 a.m. and return to the dock by 10:00
a.m. so your catch can be trimmed and packaged in fish boxes for your trip home. Lunch
is available before your floatplane arrives. Now's the time to settle any General
Store charges or airline baggage fees, check in with an Alaska Airlines representative
on site and pick up your boarding passes. Floatplanes will depart from the resort
between 1:00-2:00 p.m.
