Fire Road is a Sunnyside parent's San Francisco–based design studio creating modern, heirloom-quality goods for the home. Everything is designed locally and made in small batches, with a focus on craftsmanship, sustainability, and timeless design.
The Pacific Mancala Board (White Oak) was handcrafted in our SF workshop.

Bring beauty, balance, and a touch of the coast to game night with our modern take on the classic Mancala board. Inspired by the movement of Pacific Ocean waves, the board is carved from solid white oak with an undulating surface that invites both play and pause.
Each game piece is made from recycled glass and tumbled to resemble sea glass, adding a tactile and sustainable element that echoes the natural inspiration behind the design. The smooth contours of the board create a calming rhythm, while the contrasting textures of glass and wood make every move feel intentional.
Whether it lives on your coffee table or comes out for a quiet evening of play, this heirloom-quality board is a meaningful blend of craftsmanship, nature, and tradition. Made in the USA, designed to be passed down.
