Power of the Purse is an exciting event that brings together women from throughout southwest Minnesota with a commitment to our youngest learners. All money raised will be used for local initiatives that help effectively prepare young children in our area for kindergarten. Proceeds from this event support efforts such as Imagination Library, Stuff the Bus school supply distribution, Born Learning Trails, and more!
The 2022 Power of the Purse event is scheduled to start at 6:00 pm on Thursday, May 5th at the Mercantile at Bello's, Marshall. The evening will include: fabulous purses, silent auction, delicious food, ladies' night out and an investment in early childhood education and literacy. There will be a cash only bar (ATM on site) and a buffet meal. See details below.
If you would like to donate a purse for the silent auction, or another item for a Deluxe Package or Plinko prize, please contact us at [email protected] or 507-929-2273.
NEW THIS YEAR!
As you can see, we are using a new platform for this event. This year's silent auction bidding will be fully online. All items will be posted and bids can be placed before and during the event through your mobile device. All items will be on display at the event also! We strongly recommend setting up your account before attending the event, as this will make it much easier for you to bid and make payments for the item(s) you win. If you are bidding on item(s), you will receive notification if you are outbid. (For more information on how the bidding process works, click the "LEARN MORE" tab below.) You will also receive notification at the end of the auction regarding any item(s) you have won and will be given the option to checkout quickly online. Cash and check payments will also be accepted at the event.
