The jackalope is a mythical jackrabbit with pronghorn antelope horns.
My husband and I both grew up in Wyoming, and we both believed jackalopes were real for far longer than we should have. Even though I want to consider myself a faithful wildlife artist, these silly creatures have crept their way into my work. They connect me to my heritage, my childhood, and they remind me not to take things so seriously.
