The Year Without a Santa Claus came out in 1974 and was one of the many stop-motion animated holiday specials made by Rankin/Bass Animated Entertainment. The semi antagonists of the film were Heat Miser and Snow Miser, brothers who constantly feud over the temperature, and are forced by Mother Nature to get along for just one day to help Santa. The brothers are well remembered for their songs and personalities. They would get to be the heroes in their 2008 film, A Miser Brothers’ Christmas.
