Growing older, watching oneself wrinkle as I wake up to see myself in the mirror is quite a journey. Sometimes, I would like to erase these lines. Overall, I accept them, as wrinkles on other people have always fascinated me as the story of their lives. This quote gave me the idea for my mask after I found an ancient box of erasers in my art studio. Diane von Furstenberg said “Your wrinkles reflect the roads you have taken; they form the map of your life. My face carries all my memories. Why should I erase them?”
